Pastor Dave Marriott
Family: wife, Emiley
Testimony: Although Pastor Dave grew up in a Christian family, had Christian parents and siblings, went to church since he was in diapers, there had to come a point in his life when he realized that he was personally guilty of breaking God’s laws and that he personally needed Jesus to save him from sin and its penalty. Pastor Dave is thankful that at an early age in life, God saved him.
God continued his working in Dave’s life; at an early age, God gave him a burden for ministering the gospel to those around him. However, that zeal faded a bit during his early high school years. It was during his senior year of high school that God graciously placed a good friend in his life and began to work in both of their hearts simultaneously. As they carpooled to school each morning, they would share what they had read in the Bible the night previous and then pray, asking God to make them men of God and to use them for His service. During this time of growth, God called Dave to preach.
He graduated high school and went off to Bible college in Watertown, WI. It was there that he really learned to personally walk with God in daily Bible reading and prayer, to share the gospel with passion, to study God’s word thoroughly, and to preach with conviction. It was also at Bible college that he met his wife, Emiley, a genuine Lake Country girl. He can still remember staying up late into the night, reminding God that He had promised to give good gifts to his children and then asking God to come through on that promise by providing Emiley for his wife. God answered his prayers and gave him not only his best friend, but also his companion in ministry.
Dave and Emiley currently reside on Maple Ave. in the Town of Delafield.
